IT之家 7 月 27 日消息，英国移动网络运营商 O2 旗下的 GiffGaff 卡长久以来受海外旅居人士推崇，可以使用较低成本长期持有归属英国号码，许多用户购买 GiffGaff 卡后并未使用蜂窝流量漫游服务，而是侧重于“充值保号”。

不过根据蓝点网报道，GiffGaff 今天下午向大量用户发送封号清退邮件，相应邮件中声称 GiffGaff 主要面向英国境内的用户提供服务，而漫游服务仅适用于短期旅行。长期在英国境外漫游使用违反服务条款，因此相关卡号被终止服务，不过邮件并未说明用户账户余额如何处理。

从目前网友反馈来看，无论是否开启蜂窝流量漫游服务都可能被封号，部分用户使用漫游流量被封号，而部分用户长期不使用漫游流量也同样遭到封号。

GiffGaff 在邮件通知中的说明如下：

您好 xxxx，

我们想通知您，经过对您的账户使用情况的审核，我们决定终止您的服务 (华体会官方注册-华体会(中国)号码尾号 XXX)。根据我们的条款和条件，我们的服务主要面向英国境内用户，漫游服务仅适用于短期旅行。由于您的使用模式表明您在英国境外长期或永久使用我们的服务，因此您的账户不再符合服务资格要求。因此您的服务很快终止，所有相关访问权限也将停止。

请注意：这是我们对此事的最终决定。

感谢您的理解，并感谢您一直以来的支持。
